National Jamboree 2026

National Jamboree - July 22-31, 2026

As announced at the National Annual Meeting, the theme for the 2026 National Jamboree is “Elevate.” This theme focuses on preparing Scouts for a life of purpose and impact as they participate in the once-in-a-lifetime experience the Jamboree offers. The National Jamboree will take place July 22-31, 2026.

Jamboree registration will open this fall. Each council will manage registration for your council as a contingent. Your council contingent will choose from the following options:

  • Scouts BSA Boy Troop
  • Scouts BSA Girl Troop
  • Venturing Crew/Sea Scout Ship

Each unit type will have options for a 20-person unit (18 youth and 2 adults) or a 40-person unit (36 youth and 4 adults). Your council may choose any number of units and any configuration you choose to meet your council needs. We will not have an option for a combined troop since the pilot program will not conclude until just prior to the National Jamboree. However, council contingents will be camped in the same subcamps to ensure they can share resources once onsite if the need arises.
